Tae Sung's henchmen rush in and attack I-Soo and Gang Huyn. Despite being outnumbered, the two display exquisite fighting skills and eventually subdue Tae Sung's men. Tae Sung attempts to flee but slips and falls unconscious, later being brought to the police station for questioning.

There, Tae Sung admits to encountering In-a on the yacht, intending to kiss to her, but she immediately resists. Enraged, Tae Sung grabs her by the throat but leaves when she becomes unconscious, claiming he hasn't inflicted enough harm to kill her.

Regarding the drugs found on the yacht, Tae Sung attributes them to his brother, Tae-Young, stating that he often secretly uses them on the yacht.

Shortly after, Tae-Young, CEO of DN Media and Tae Sung's brother, appears at the police station. Tae Sung snitches on him, prompting the police to conduct a drug test on Tae-Young. During a scuffle, drugs fall out of Tae-Young's pocket, leading to a confrontation until their older brother, Cheon Tae-Jun, Vice President of DN Media, arrives with his legal team.

The three brothers, who despise each other, engage in a brawl, just as the chairman cheon’s second wife, Tae-Sung's mother, Lee Su-Min, CEO of DN Agent, shows up. She immediately threatens the police and defends her son, demanding to see the chief of the officers. Simultaneously, a janitor exits the room.

The next to arrive is Chairman Cheon's first wife, Cheon Hyeon-Ju, CEO of DN Broadcast. Unlike the rest of the family, she remains composed and polite. The inspectors sit down, relax, grab some popcorn, and enjoy the Cheon family drama unfolding like a TV show. Gang Huyn then uses the siren to halt the family's argument and requests their silence for the investigation. One by one, they temporarily detain Tae Sung and Tae Young, as both have reasons for arrest, namely, violence and drug possession, respectively. During the interrogation, Tae Young explains that on the night of the murder, he went to his yacht to use drugs. While high, he saw In-a slowly approaching him and looking frightening, so he pushed her into the water. However, that's all he remembers.

Gang Huyn shows him photos taken at the crime scene where In-a was back on the yacht with bruises on her head. They also discover that Tae Young assaulted a man near his house while on drugs and believe he has a tendency for violence when under the influence.

Therefore, Gang Huyn concludes that after In-a was pushed into the water, she found a way back onto the yacht, but Tae Young, in his drug-induced state, attacked and killed her. He then left her on the yacht and went home, forgetting what happened. Gang Huyn is almost certain Tae Young is the culprit, but they have yet to find the murder weapon and where he assaulted In-a.

Meanwhile, I-Soo finds it odd that the entire Cheon family is present at the police station. He suspects they might have some connection to the case.

Just then, he remembers seeing a scratch on the side of the yacht, leading him to believe that In-a might have been killed on another yacht and then brought back to where she was discovered. Gang-hyun requests I-Soo to inspect it with her. Kyung-jin joins and has the opportunity to drive I-Soo's boat. True to I-Soo's observation, Tae Young's boat has a large fresh scratch, and Gang-hyun submits a request to inspect all the remaining boats in the club.

At Isoo's home, his stepmother visits him. She says that after his father's election, he will be sent abroad, and she will reclaim his house to rent it out to her friends. Before leaving, she smashes some glasses and a compass on the floor, seemingly with significance to I-Soo. After she departs, I-Soo looks at the shattered pieces on the floor and asks Mr. Cho if he knows anyone in the DN Group because he believes In-a's murder is not a simple case of homicide. The forensic report from In-a's phone is released, revealing that she had met both Tae-jun and Tae-sung. Additionally, she passed away ten days after her mother's funeral. Gang-hyun requests Kyung-jin to investigate any connection between the two deaths while she and Jun-young visit Tae-jun. However, they don't find significant information except that In-a had met all the brothers and was attempting to meet the Chairman. They all attribute her actions to her desperation to seduce any man from the Cheon family.

I-Soo continues to investigate and discovers that Chairman Cheon is dying of cancer, leading to a silent battle over inheritance within the family for the past six months.

Meanwhile, at the police station, Kyung-jin finds out that In-a's mother used to be Chairman Cheon's first wife's assistant at the DN Group. In-a was born a few months after she quit her job, implying that In-a is Chairman Cheon's illegitimate child. Her attempt to meet the Cheon brothers was to try to get DNA samples. The investigation team needs a search warrant to investigate Tae-jun's boat, but the team leader refuses Gang-hyun's request, stating they need more convincing evidence. I-Soo suggests investigating alone without a warrant since he has the authority to freely enter the yacht club. Reluctantly, Gang-hyun agrees to let him investigate.

I-Soo immediately finds bloodstains and fingerprints on the ceiling of Tae-jun's boat, which after analysis, they realize belong to Chairman Cheon's first wife's assistant. They go to arrest her, but she and the assistant are on their way to the airport to flee. The investigation team pursues them but gets stuck in traffic. I-Soo again saves the day by summoning his helicopter and tries to land on the escaping car. They manage to stop them and bring both Hyeon-ju and the assistant to the police station.

Tae-jun arrives at the police station after his mother confesses to killing In-a. However, I-Soo sees him smirk as he leaves and realizes that he's the one who killed In-a, and his mother just wants to take the blame for her son.

He hurries to visit Chairman Cheon's second wife, Su-mi. He also knows that Su-mi had been arrested for illegal wiretapping before, and he's certain she recorded Tae-jun and has crucial evidence they need to arrest him. I-Soo texts Gang-hyun during the case meeting and requests her to detain Tae-jun because he's the murderer.

Gang-hyun tries to delay Tae-jun as long as possible, and I-Soo arrives at the last minute before Tae-jun leaves the police station. He has an audio recording of a call between Tae-jun and his mother asking her to kill In-a, frame Tae-young, and then take the blame. By doing so, they would eliminate their rival and take control of the company.

So, this case is resolved, and Tae-jun is arrested. I-Soo wins the bet and is very excited.

Later, I-Soo calls his assistant and asks him to prepare his new house, a place unrelated to Hansu Group. Seong-ju calls and arranges to meet I-Soo. I-Soo asks why he's been so good to him. Seung-jun says that if he were in the Cheon family, he would have died long ago. Seung-jun says that although he used to hate I-Soo, when he saw I-Soo lose his mother and how Seung-jun's mother treated him badly, he felt sorry for him. Seung-jun is glad that they both grew up happily together. Meanwhile, I-Soo's father's assistants think that using I-Soo will help improve their boss's image because of the high-profile cases he's solving, but they also think that I-Soo is not reliable.

Gang-hyun visits Chairman Cheon at the hospital and tries to persuade him to hold a funeral for In-a because the morgue will burn her body if no one claims it. The Chairman blames her for destroying the family and says that he has no daughter. However, Gang-hyun receives news that I-Soo has decided to take charge and organize a funeral for In-a. Gang-hyun realizes that I-Soo is not like the other selfish rich kids.

The next day, I-Soo receives an invitation to the art exhibition of the famous artist Noh Young-jae with the invitation saying "invitation to the death." I-Soo goes to the event and suddenly hears people screaming in fear. When he rushes over, he sees Young-jae lying on the floor with a knife stabbed in his stomach in a pool of blood.

However, this time, I-Soo doesn't panic like he used to but instead, he raises his police badge and takes over the case like a real cop.

TL;DR
