FLEX X COP EP 2

Turned out, three hours before the appointment ceremony, Isoo didn’t want to wake up and intended to skip the meeting even when Mr. Cho tried to persuade him. However, Seong-ju arrived and brought the police uniform to his room. Seong-ju woke Isoo up and told him to do it to save their company's reputation. Jeong-hun and Seong-ju used emotional blackmail by telling Isoo that Seong-ju would take the blame for the false announcement and step down from his position as vice president, which would give his cousins who had been eyeing his position in the company a chance to take it from under Seung-jun. Seong-jun would be sent to an overseas branch, and their dad would have to give up on his election campaign. They finally managed to convince Isoo, and he went to the police station. Isoo then goes to the office with Mr. Cho, Gang Huyn, and Jun Young, who clearly don't like him and don't cooperate. Gang Huyn goes straight up to tell Isoo to obey the orders and not upload any of their work on his social media. They even trap him to sit on a broken chair. Meanwhile, Gang Huyn already asks their bosses to transfer Isoo to another department, but they refuse because Isoo is capable; he arrested the criminal they have been looking for a while. At the chairman's house, Seong-ju's mom, Soo-ja, brings up Isoo's problem again with the intention to anger the chairman. Seong-ju tries to defend Isoo, but the chairman again tells him to send Isoo overseas. Back at the police station, Gang Huyn worries that Isoo will be a burden to their team, but Jun Young tells him to give the guy a chance. They go back to their office and see that Isoo already has private chefs cook fancy meals for the officers and set up the office like a restaurant, while Isoo is playing video games. Gang Huyn stops him while Jun Young dismisses the restaurant while everyone else protests.

On the rooftop, the two decide they need to find a way to make Isoo give up being a cop himself. According to Kyung Jin, Isoo's weak point is that he finds anything boring. Therefore, Gang Huyn tasks Isoo to write reports of a crime case and tells him that 90% of a cop's job is writing reports. Just as they predict, soon Isoo is out of the office. But before Gang Huyn can celebrate, her boss calls her to summon her to his office. It turns out that Isoo has cleverly asked the police chief how to write reports, and he says that he doesn't know how to write reports and his team members didn't instruct him. Gang Huyn has to bring the files back to their office with Isoo. When they get back, Gang Huyn sees her colleagues rushing to search for a missing old man. Seeing this, she comes up with a new idea and tells everyone, including Isoo, to follow her to help with the search.

After receiving the order, the police divide into teams and go searching. Gang Huyn hopes that this mundane search task will make Isoo give up. He clearly shows no interest and keeps staring at his phone. After a while, Gang Huyn sees a group of motorcycle riders happily greeting Isoo, and then a group of cyclists and even delivery drivers show up.

It turns out that these are the people Isoo has mobilized to search for the missing old man, with the reward being his expensive watch. Material incentives determine consciousness, and a motorcycle rider quickly finds the old man. The mission finishes in no time, to the amazement of Kyung Jin, while Gang Huyn grows increasingly frustrated. The next day, Isoo arrives excitedly to show off his illuminated name tag, but his joy is short-lived as news arrives that a body has been found in Gangha Quay. Everyone, including Isoo, rushes to the scene. Upon arrival at the scene, Gang Huyn and the others are initially denied entry due to the exclusive nature of the area, reserved for yacht owners. However, Gang Huyn's ownership of a yacht grants them access, allowing the investigation team, including forensic doctor Yoon Ji Won, to enter. Despite this, Gang Huyn prevents Isoo from entering the yacht, which is the crime scene.

The victim is identified as model Jung In A. Meanwhile, Gang Huyn, unable to enter the crime scene, takes his boat out onto the river to relax in the sun. Kyung Jin admires Isoo's cool demeanor, while Gang Huyn's disdain for him is evident.

Gang Huyn then bring Isoo with her to the victim's modeling agency, where Gang Huyn tells him to interrogates the staff while she goes to talk with the CEO. The CEO reveals that In A was present the previous night but had left by 8 p.m and does show any usual behavior. her mother's recently passed away.

When Gang Huyn goes downstairs, she finds Isoo chatting with the models. Ignoring him, Gang Huyn leaves, instructing Isoo to write a report on their findings before driving off. Meanwhile, Yoon Ji Won begins the autopsy.

Returning home, Gang Huyn finds her father practicing calligraphy and prepares ramen for them. Over dinner, Gang Huyn discusses the challenges of her new team member. When her mother joins them and suggests she start dating, Gang Huyn declines, leading to tension.

Meanwhile, Isoo drinks with Youngwan, expressing frustration at his teammates' dislike, especially Gang Huyn's rudeness. Youngwan encourages Isoo to prove himself. The next day, Isoo arrives at work full of energy in another car. Gang Huyn is annoyed to see him and tries to stop him from entering the autopsy room because it’s not for the weak, but Isoo insists on going anyway. However, when he sees In-a lying lifeless on the table, images of a woman drowning start to play in his head, and he has a panic attack, feeling like he is drowning and unable to breathe. When Gang Huyn and Ji-won find him struggling on the floor, he pretends it was a joke and picks himself up. Ji-won's autopsy results indicate that In-a was hit on the head, strangled, and drowned before her death. On the way out, I-soo is curious about the sequence of events that occurred with In-a. I-soo also notices a mark on In-a's arm that Ji-won cannot identify the origin of. Gang-hyun finds it intriguing that I-soo seems more attentive to the case than she thought. I-soo suggests that she might be jealous and afraid he'll solve the case before her. She chuckles at the remark, and they make a bet: if I-soo fails to catch the killer, he'll leave the police force. However, if he catches the killer, Gang-hyun will have to admit that I-soo is a true detective.

Security cameras around the yacht show that In-a entered with Cheon Tae-sung, the youngest son of the DN Media conglomerate, and his last social media post was from a club that I-soo knows. I-soo immediately heads there while Gang-hyun worries that he'll catch the culprit before them. She quickly orders her subordinates to gather information and they have to beat I-soo. I-soo arrives where Tae-sung is and finds him in the tanning spa. He questions him about In-a, but Tae-sung refuses to answer. they start a fight but I-soo quickly pins Tae-sung down while Gang-hyun at the entrance is trying to get in the club, but she is stopped by security. I-soo is soon thrown out by Tae-sung's guards. Tae-sung orders his guards to beat up I-soo, and even their police badges can't stop them. Gang-hyun and I-soo prepare to confront the guards, but more of them show up and surround the two.
