Gi Jun is quickly taken to the hospital, and he wakes up shortly after. He immediately tries to call Jin Woo but fails. Sara mentions that it appears Jin Woo has allied with Cha Yul, handing over the evidence they had provided him. Furthermore, their house are searched because Yul Seong wants to ensure they have no other copies.

The next day, Yul Seong publishes a photo of Young Ah and her husband with a pastor, further alleging her involvement with a cult. Sara is upset and wants Young Ah to clear her name, but Young Ah believes that exposing her husband as the real cult member would negatively affect their children.

Meanwhile, Chairman Cha discovers that the nanny has taken and sent a photo of Seo Yeon to Sara. She calls Sara and, in front of Seo Yeon, claims that the reason for her divorce is due to her having another man. This makes Seo Yeon cry and leaves Sara deeply distressed.

That evening, someone informs Young Ah about the pastor's deception leading to his wife leaving him. Feeling sympathetic, Young Ah visits him with some gifts, unaware that this is a trap set by Yul Seong. The next day, that very man stands before the parliament, exposing Young Ah's husband for fraudulence. They even have a photo of her giving a gift to the man, suggesting she is bribing him with money hidden in a paper bag to silence the scandal involving her husband.

Solution learns about the situation and feels it's clear that Young Ah was set up. That night, Dae Ki and Kang Bom follow the old pastor and see him being beaten by Yul Seong and his men. They record this incident and bring it back to Solution. While they are watching the video, Yul Seong calls Secretary Jang, and she steps away to answer him. However, this time she refuses to provide information to him.

The next day, people gather in front of the parliament to protest, demanding Young Ah's resignation. However, Young Ah is rushing to the hospital because her son has been admitted; it turns out the boy has a chronic illness but Min Chul had secretly stopped him from taking his medication because the pastor said the medicine would interfere with prayer.

Sara calls Gi Jun to talk about this, and they realize that what Min Chul did is child abuse due to superstition, and they could use this to strip him of his parental rights. Even Min Chul's daughter wants Young Ah to divorce her dad because she thinks they are making Young Ah suffer.

The next day, Sara meets with Young Ah, telling her about how they will make it possible for her to divorce her superstitious husband while still being able to live with her children. The following day, Young Ah finally clears her name with the press, revealing the truth and announcing she will accept her husband's request for a divorce. Meanwhile, Sara finally manages to call Seo Yeon on his secret phone number and explains that what his grandmother said was incorrect. Gi Jun is finally discharged from the hospital, and Sara picks him up. Gi Jun wants to go to Sara's house to help her clean up, and he also says that he still loves her and asks her for a chance whenever she is ready.

The next day, Sara decides they must find a way to approach the old pastor to obtain clear evidence that he is a fraud. Dae Ki and Kang Bom approach the pastor's henchman and threaten him to help them since they have evidence of his scams and embezzlement. Thanks to this, the next day they successfully drug the pastor with sleeping pills in a vitamin bottle in his car and take him to a place set up like an interrogation room.

Jang Mi and Secretary Jang pose as prosecutors and question him about a patient who died after surgery he conducted. He continuously denies it until they bring in the henchman for confrontation. The henchman then suggests that the patient died from blood loss due to the pastor's strong manipulation, supposedly. When Jang Mi and Secretary Jang leave the room, the pastor says that he doesn't possess any supernatural powers; it was all just a performance, and there are no such things as supernatural abilities. Sara enters the room and presses a button, revealing they were in a box placed right in the pastor's assembly hall with his followers witnessing him exposing himself. They are extremely outraged and attack him, and the police quickly arrive to arrest him for fraud. Sara and Gi Jun drive away, but along the way, Sara drops her coffee cup, and they come up with a thought regarding Yoo Mi's case. The coffee cup falls from a moving vehicle and still rolls forward, whereas Yoo Mi, despite allegedly committing suicide by jumping from the vehicle, falls backward 6 meters, raising a suspicion. They go to request the police to reinvestigate, but the police still seem indifferent and hesitant.

That evening, when Gi Jun takes Sara back home, they find Yul Seong waiting outside her house. Gi Jun confronts him and wants to drive him away. However, Yul Seong shows them messages he sent when he heard about Yoo Mi's death by accident, which seem to express genuine surprise at the news. He uses this as a pretext to threaten them with a countersuit for defamation, warning that Gi Jun could end up paying him a fortune in damages. The next day, Sara meets with Young Ah, who suggests they collaborate on the election campaign, praising Sara's capabilities and resourcefulness. At that moment, Yul Seong also arrives to meet Young Ah, kneeling to apologize and asking for a chance to support her in the election. Young Ah then announces that she has already chosen her partner, Sara, who will be appointed as the head of the election strategy team. As Yul Seong sheepishly leaves, his mother calls him, telling him to meet a girl for marriage prospects. However, he mentions he already has a plan in mind.
