The investigation into Edgar's disappearance continues to intensify as Vincent's behavior becomes increasingly erratic. Detective Ledroit arrives at the studio with more questions for Vincent, while Cassie meets with another mother of a missing child, seeking solace and information. At a party, Vincent criticizes the plans of Deputy Mayor Costello and his brother-in-law Bruno, who runs Hudson Sanitation, raising suspicions about his involvement in Edgar's disappearance.

Vincent's erratic behavior at the party and his interactions with Ledroit further complicate the case. Ledroit takes Vincent in for questioning, revealing CCTV footage of Vincent shouting after Edgar. Vincent admits he followed Edgar and grabbed his shirt, which Edgar then took off before walking away. After a rough start, he successfully presents his idea to the network executives, who are impressed and decide to feature Eric on the show. Meanwhile, Cassie continues her search for Edgar, meeting with Vincent's mother and accepting a $25,000 reward. She also meets with Cecile, the mother of another missing child, and asks Lennie if he thinks Vincent could have killed Edgar.

Vincent and Lennie celebrate the success of the pitch meeting at The Lux nightclub, where Vincent continues to party despite his son's disappearance. This behavior raises further questions about his mental state and priorities. At the same party, Ledroit approaches Gator, the club owner, and inquires about Marlon's disappearance, seeking any potential leads.

Lennie's dark past comes to light when a cleaner at the police station accidentally knocks over files, revealing his criminal record. This discovery adds another layer of complexity to the investigation and raises questions about the people involved in Vincent's life.
