Empty Your Pockets The episode starts with the McCardle family arriving in Bodkin, looking upset. Meanwhile, Gilbert and Dove are in a police cell. Dove reflects on her actions in London and tells Gilbert that Krtek begged her to kill the story, but she refused and took his laptop to protect the truth. Gilbert blames her for Krtek's death.

Gilbert is released, and Seamus angrily arrives at Mrs. O'Shea's house looking for Sean. After he leaves, Emmy tells Mrs. O'Shea that she knows Sean is Seamus's son. At the police station, Dove is taken to a van by Interpol. Before they drive away, she makes a deal with them, promising to deliver Seamus in exchange for her freedom. They agree but fit her with an ankle bracelet to track her location.

At Mrs. O'Shea's house, she tells Gilbert and Emmy that she feels she failed Fiona. Fiona's last words to her were to keep Seamus away from Sean. Mrs. O'Shea also reveals she burned Sean's car and had Maeve burn Seamus's boat to scare the podcasters away. She asks Emmy to talk to Sean and convince him to give Seamus back his eels, promising not to tell Sean that Seamus is his father.

Dove goes to Seamus's house and offers him a deal, but the McCardles show up, forcing them to hide. The episode ends with many unresolved plot threads, including the fate of Seamus and the McCardles, who seem to vanish after the explosion at the Samhain festival. Conclusion "Bodkin" is a dark-comedy thriller on Netflix about podcasters trying to solve a mystery in an Irish town. It's got a good story and characters, especially Dove, Gilbert, and Emmy, who work well together. The mix of serious stuff with jokes in beautiful Ireland is nice to watch. But some people think it's too long and keeps repeating stuff, and there are some parts that don't make sense. Overall, some like it, some don't, but it's still got a decent rating, so it might be worth checking out if you like this kind of show.
