A few hours before the party, Je-na goes out to dinner with her father and his mistress and gets angry when they announce their upcoming wedding and that the mistress is pregnant with Mr. Baek's child. When Je-na visits her mother, she finds her drunk, and Je-na feels very miserable.

At the party, Je-na approaches Hye-in and pours a whole bottle of wine on Hye-in's dress. She then insults Hye-in and tells her to know her place and accept her humble status. Hye-in gets angry and tries to retaliate, but two waiters intervene to stop her and drag her out of the party.

That night, Je-na orders her driver and personal assistant to fire the housemaid. Je-na believes the housemaid messed up her room and insists on keeping things in order because she dislikes when things are out of place. However, Je-na is actually just venting her frustration upon realizing that the news has started reporting on her father and his mistress being pregnant, with the potential heir likely to become the successor of the conglomerate. The next morning, Hye-in plans to borrow money from her father, but he and her brother are shocked when they see Hye-in asking for 80,000 won. Her brother scolds her for being ignorant and asking for such a large amount despite knowing their financial situation. Hye-in retreats to her room and receives a text from Na-yeon asking her to return the borrowed dress. Since the dress is now ruined due to the wine stain, Hye-in worries that she will be in trouble if Na-yeon's mother finds out. meanwhile Je-na meets Na-yeon, turns out they scheme it together to get hye in into trouble. Do-eon meets Je-na and scolds her for bullying Hye-in. Je-na concludes that Do-eon was actually involved with Kim Hae-in and tells him to stop fixating on 'penniless people'. Je-na claims that the poor usually use people like them as stepping stones to get to the top and dump them for the next best thing, just like Je-na’s father did with her mother. That night, So-mang is shocked to see a video of Hye-in being bullied at the party. At the same time, he sees Hye-in talking to a middle-aged man and thinks he's a pervert taking advantage of a teenager. However, Hye-in explains to So-mang that he misunderstood, and the man was just buying a gift from her to give to his girlfriend.

After their encounter, So-mang and Hye-in talk about the unawareness of privilege among the wealthy and how So-mang initially thought Hye-in was dating the middle-aged man because she was poor. So-mang feels guilty and offers Hye-in a ride home. Hye-in wonders if So-mang is also poor like her because he's the only one who's been by her side.

That night, Hye-in plans to take on as many part-time jobs as possible to pay back 80,000 won to Na-yeon. The next day, Hye-in's teacher tells her that there's a way for her to get another scholarship from the school. The teacher explains that the scholarship program provides temporary accommodation and other benefits.

Hye-in considers the program but meets Je-na on her way out. Hye-in asks Je-na to pretend like she doesn't exist and allow her to study at the school. Je-na tells Hye-in that she caused trouble by crossing paths with Je-na in the first place, so she refuses to leave Hye-in alone. Je-na suggests Hye-in leave the school within a week and offers to pay for the wine-stained dress.

That evening, Do-eon offers Je-na a ride home, and he asks Hye-in what's wrong. Hye-in intends to ask Do-eon for 80,000 won, but before she can speak, he lectures her for attending the party and giving the elites an opportunity to bully her. Later, Do-eon insists Hye-in tell him who pushed Hae-in from the rooftop.

Hye-in asks to borrow money, and Do-eon mocks her for using a murder case to ask him for money, unlike Hae-in, who never asked him for anything. Hye-in feels uncomfortable and asks to get off his car. She tells Do-eon that she didn't get a clear look at the person who pushed Hae-in from the rooftop but saw that it was a girl. She also calls out Do-eon for bragging about loving Hae-in but failing to take care of her and letting the elite group bully her.

The next day, Woo-jin asks Je-na why she fought with Do-eon and says he doesn't understand why Do-eon is attracted to poor girls. Je-na mentions that Do-eon isn't that different until Yul-hee arrives. At the same time, Si-eun takes Hye-in to the art room and proposes a solution to help her pay for the dress without having to drop out of school.
