After the incident, Na Yeon lost the chance to perform her best in the interview. Na Yeon’s mom knows what happened and goes to the school hitting and insulting Hye In. As she was about to hit Hye In again, the chairman of Cheongdam School approaches and tells her that Na Yeon’s result will be heavily affected by what happened today, as she was the reason for the mess in the interview room. Na Yeon’s mom threatens to destroy Na Yeon's life and press charges against her. News quickly spreads to the school, and Hye In is threatened with expulsion. The homeroom teacher also mentions that Na Yeon's mom is ready to frame and sue Hye In for theft.

Classmates quickly find out about the incident and start bad-mouthing Hye In and spreading rumors about her on social media. Hye In decides to delete all her photos and deactivate her Instagram account. Hye In tries to stay calm and focus on studying, but when a classmate throws a piece of paper filled with insults at her, she decides she has to do something. As she leaves the classroom, she is stopped by another classmate who demands that Hye In apologize to the whole class for lying.

Fed up, Hye In reluctantly apologizes and then leaves. She goes to Cheongdam High School and visits the chairman's office to ask him to accept Na Yeon to their school. She apologizes and begs for his sympathy, explaining that if Na Yeon can't go to Cheongdam, Na Yeon and her family will destroy Hye In's life. However, the chairman doesn’t care about any of that, as all he wants is profit, and helping Hye In won't bring him any, but might even damage the reputation of Cheongdam School, affecting its revenue.

After speaking, he calls security to escort Hye In out. On the way out, Hye In asks to use the bathroom. Inside the female bathroom, a male student named So Mang is hiding to smoke in one of the cabins. When he hears Hye In enter, he freaks out and immediately hides his cigarette, trying to sneak out. However, Hye In catches him red-handed and thinks that he’s a pervert snooping in the women's bathroom. Hye In threatens to call the police, but So Mang explains that he's just using this bathroom as a hiding place to smoke because no one in this school uses it, as last year a student gave birth here. So Mang then recalls that Hye In was the girl with the water bucket on interview day and calls her the bucket girl.

Hye In promises not to report So Mang smoking, but in return, she asks him to tell her where the chairman's car is parked. Hye In intends to wait for the chairman and try to beg for his help again. She waits for him in a corner, but time passes for so long that she doesn’t see him go to his car. It turns out he used another car that day, and Hye In falls asleep, so she doesn't notice.

At midnight, Hye In is the only one left at the school. She thinks the chairman has already left and approaches the car to check. Right at that moment, a student falls from the rooftop right behind Hye In. The student is none other than Hae In, the girl Hye In met in the bathroom. Hye In looks up and sees someone leaving the rooftop.
