After her lie, Hye In has to keep posting pictures with Nayeon's stuff and with the background of her fancy house. Her classmates ask why she only posts pictures but never actually brings any of her luxurious stuff to class, and Hye In fabricates a lie based on Sun Joo’s story about her colleague, someone who is rich but decides to earn her own allowance.

Hye In claims that because her family is wealthy, but she values independence, she prefers to earn money to spend and doesn't want to show off. Her classmates admire her even more upon learning this, telling her that if she can attract more followers and reach over 10,000 followers on Instagram, she could become an influencer and earn advertising money. Hye In has another idea to make more money.

That evening, Hye In goes to Nayeon's house earlier than usual, taking many photos with Nayeon's clothes, but still doesn't have enough followers.

Hye In comes up with an idea and goes into Nayeon's parents' room, but as she's checking around, the housekeeper enters the room and tells her to leave. As she's about to leave, Hye In sees the custom-made Cheongdam school uniform that Nayeon's mother bought for her. Curious, she tries it on and is taking pictures when Nayeon returns.

Nayeon is also excited to try on the uniform, so she rushes into her parents' room to find it but can't. Meanwhile, Hye In can't take off the uniform and has to hide under the bed.

When Nayeon enters the room, she hears Hye In's phone notification and checks it, quickly discovering the Instagram account with pictures of her room and belongings, including the new uniform. Now Nayeon knows that Hye In is a high school student using someone else's student ID to deceive.

Nayeon is furious and threatens to tell her mom and report Hye In for impersonation and fraud. Hye In begs her not to and is thankful, but Nayeon isn't simple and tells her that Hye In needs to do things for her in return for her silence.

Hye In has to be her servant, doing all of her homework, then also her friends' homework, carrying shopping bags, running coffee errands, and many other unnamed jobs. Hye In really struggles to do all that while also having two part-time jobs and studying for her midterm.

Nayeon uses the secret to blackmail her every time Hye In attempts to refuse, but Nayeon says that soon she will get into Cheongdam and Hye In won’t have to tutor her anymore and will be free.

On the day of her midterm and Nayeon's interview for Cheongdam school, Hye In thinks everything is over, but Nayeon calls her crying, saying she forgot her interview script at home and needs Hye In to bring it to her because suddenly no one else is reachable. With only an hour before her midterm exam, Hye In initially refuses, but Nayeon uses the tutoring fraud to blackmail her again, leaving Hye In no choice but to rush to Nayeon's house to get the script and then race to Cheongdam school. Despite all the struggle, as she steps into the Cheongdam school hall, Hye In overhears Nayeon badmouthing her with her friends, even though Nayeon already has her script and still wants to mess with Hye In. Even knowing Hye In is listening, Nayeon doesn’t care and continues mocking Hye In for being naive. Then, off to the interview, she throws the script into the trash bin right in front of Hye In's eyes.

Hye In is broken after this, recalling all the mistreatment she's received as someone born into a poor family. Her teacher calls and scolds her for being absent at the midterm. She cries in the bathroom for a while, struggling to wash her face with her hair getting in the way. A student shows up and gives her a hair tie. The other student is Hae In, and she notices their names are quite similar. When Hae In turns around, Hye In notices a post-it note on her back saying, "Sorry, I'm a leech." Hye In understands that Hae In is also a victim of classism in this fancy school.

Angry, Hye In rips off the note and throws it into the trash can before leaving. The scene shifts to Nayeon during her interview, giving a passionate speech about her dream at Cheongdam. Just then, Hye In barges through the door and runs in with a bucket full of water, pouring it all over Nayeon before anyone can react. She tells Nayeon to forget her dream because she first needs to work on her character.
